Morning, all. Spring fever is in the rearview mirror, but that doesn’t mean we can’t chat football.
ABOUT THIS DICKEY GUY. It’s the dawn of the beginning of the emergence of a new era, et. al. in Aggieland and all that. But the real burning question on everyone’s mind is: how will we ever replace Mazzone’s dynamic offense? That task falls directly on the shoulders of new OC Darrell Dickey. The DMN’s Ben Baby did a deep dive on Dickey’s past, his styles, and his various accomplishments.
TRANSFER SZN. Let’s preface this: it happens every single off-season. Even more so with total coaching changes. It’s just that A&M’s is happening a bit later in the time arc between December and the end of spring ball. Players are gonna transfer. It’s part of college football. Our pal Brent Z recaps the trio (thus far) of Ags who will finish their playing days elsewhere: DBs Kemah Siverand and Nick Harvey, and OL Koda Martin. See? That wasn’t so bad. Happy Monday.
GOOD BULL DODS
You can’t really broadly define “priorities” when it comes to student athletes, but you can tell when a football player has things figured out. Tyrel Dodson is one of the best linebackers in the SEC (no small feat by itself), but he’s also the type of dude who goes to lunch with a kid from football camp.
Met this little dude at Aggie Football youth camp today! He challenged me to race, obviously he beat me! We became best friends and went to lunch today! Today was a good day w/ Dan!

Nice work #25. Not sure what restaurant this is, but undoubtedly one of you College Station foodies will point it out.
[& chill out recruiting bros...stop trying to get the kid’s measurables so you can be the first to do the 2029 profile on him]
