National Signing Day got off to a rousing start for the Texas A&M Aggies, as they got a signing day flip from four-star defensive end Bobby Brown.

Brown originally committed to Texas A&M in late October, before decommitting and committing to Alabama in late December. Luckily for the Aggies, Brown opted not to sign with the Crimson Tide during the early signing period, and coach Jimbo Fisher and his staff were able to re-recruit the Arlington Lamar product back into the fold.
It’s no coincidence that Brown was in College Station this weekend with fellow recent re-commit Leon O’Neal.

This marks a huge addition to the Aggies 2018 class, which currently stands at 16 commits and has seen a rapid rise back into the top 20 classes in the country. Brown is rated as the 18th-best player in Texas, the 17th-best defensive tackle in the country and the 182nd-best player in the country overall, according to 247 Sports. The Aggies will try to secure a signature from yet another Alabama commit when four-star athlete Vernon Jackson makes his intentions known this afternoon.
