Jhamon Ausbon, the Aggie wide receiver who was injured versus Arkansas and was spotted wearing a boot on the sideline, broke his foot according to Jimbo Fisher in his Monday media availability.
Jimbo Fisher says Jhamon Ausbon broke a bone in his foot and will be out for awhile. He had surgery. Doesn't appear there's a timetable, as yet.— Suzanne Halliburton (@suzhalliburton) October 1, 2018
He is out for an undetermined period of time following surgery. An Aggie sophomore who was a 4-star recruit out of IMG Academy, Ausbon was thought to be the best WR on the roster heading into this season. So far in 2018, Ausbon grabbed 15 receptions for 221 yards but no TDs. He scored three times in 2017. This injury comes as the Aggies head into a stretch in which they must string together some wins.
