The new College Basketball Polls are out... and after a tough week of home losses to Florida and LSU, the good guys, previously ranked 11th, are nowhere to be found.
In fact, the entire SEC is absent from the top 20... with only Kentucky (#21), Auburn (#22), and Tennessee (#24) making an appearance in the rankings. Texas A&M, Georgia, and Arkansas are receiving votes.
This drop puts the finishing touches on a spectacular rise and fall from grace. It truly is impressive to put something like this together.
- #25 (Preseason)
- #16 (Take THAT, West Virginia)
- #9 (sup, Barclay’s Classic)
- #7 (hayy USC road win)
- #9 (ok road games at Zona are hard)
- #5 (wow the teams up here keeping screwing up)
- #11 (oh no this feels bad)
- Unranked (definitely bad)
****************
The Ags head to Rupp Arena to face Kentucky tomorrow night at 6, and we’re hoping for a full complement of players for the first time in SEC play.
It’s a Kentucky squad that has looked a little wobbly lately, so it’s definitely a game that we can win at (or near) full strength.
