Aggie fans ended 2017 with news that safety Donovan Wilson would be back next season after being granted a medical hardship waiver, and the good news continued on the first day of 2018 as defensive tackle Kingsley Keke announced his plans to return to Texas A&M for his senior season.
After much prayer & consultation with my family, friends, and coaches, I would like to start off 2018 the right way and confirm that I will return to Texas A&M for my senior season.

Keke’s 54 tackles led all A&M defensive tackles in 2017, and was good for seventh on the team overall. He also added a sack, two batted passes, two recovered fumbles and 2.5 tackles for loss. His return will anchor what has the potential to be a stout Aggies front seven, the only significant losses being defensive end Jarrett Johnson and defensive tackle Zaycoven Henderson. The entire starting linebacker group returns.
The Ags have yet to name a defensive coordinator, but when they do, he’ll have some talent and depth to work with as he attempts to improve the Aggie defense next fall.
