THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN SHOES. Buck up, campers. It’s not all doom-and-gloom heading into this season. Perhaps the brightest spot on this team is at running back, where Trayveon Williams is ready to build on an impressive freshman year. The Eagle caught up with him after practice yesterday, where he dished on what areas he’s working to improve, camaraderie with the OL, and which running back he modeled his game after growing up [you’ll never guess what team he played for!].

THE STUDENT BECOMES THE MASTER. Not all position groups are as loaded as running back. The Ags lost approximately 77 wide receivers to graduation or the NFL. Fortunately, Sumlin has been recruiting about 30 of them every year. The math checks out. Even more fortunately, we’ve still got Christian Kirk, and now he’s an upperclassman. He’s been showing the boys the ropes as fall camp kicks off. Pay attention, dudes. He knows what he’s talking about.

BUT DOCTOR, WHO’S GONNA PLAY QUARTERBACK? Very good question! The million dollar one this month. One worthy of 300 vidya clips and blurb drops every single day after practice. But you know what? We’re not gonna find out until Sumlin wants us to find out. It’s his last vestige of true control. So here’s an entire article about a video of Noel Mazzone telling us in a roundabout way that they haven’t made up their minds yet. Slake that burning lust for information! It’s like that part in Interview With The Vampire where he drinks rat’s blood to fool his body’s constant craving. If we see enough headlines and read enough words, maybe we’ll stop asking questions even though it’s all filler? Who knows. Worth a shot.

HEY NO, UNC IS NOT EXCLUSIVELY A BASKETBALL SCHOOL WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU EVER SAY THAT—
