Every commitment is good news, but nothing is sweeter music to Aggie fans' ears than the commitment of a talented linebacker. We got just that on Saturday when four-star Richland linebacker DaShaun White committed to the Texas A&M Aggies despite long being rumored to favor the Oklahoma Sooners.
To my city; this if for you...

White is 6'1", 222 pounds, and he is ranked as the 22nd-best outside linebacker in the country and the 43rd-best overall recruit in Texas, according to 247 Sports. In addition to Texas A&M and OU, he held scholarship offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Baylor, Houston, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, TCU and UCLA.
White gives the Aggies 16 commits in their 2018 recruiting class. This most recenet commitment moves the class to the #11 spot in the country, jumping UCLA and, fittingly, Oklahoma.
