Daily Bull 8.24.17: How many times will A&M sack Josh Rosen?

HOPEFULLY A LOT, RIGHT?

LIGHT HIM UP. IF YOU LIGHT HIM UP YOU’LL NEVER STOP NEVER STOP NEVER STOP NEVER STOP

Lots of folks are excited to see how Chavis adjusts the front seven without a couple of very prolific defensive ends to anchor the line. And since it’s August and everyone’s doing it, we’re expecting lots of blitzes and different packages. That’s exciting! CBS Sports’ Barrett Sallee thinks it’s BAD news for Josh Rosen, as he told PAWL recently that the Ags would “light him up”. That’s what those in the industry call “bulletin board fodder” or something or other. Anyway, something for people to talk about and get mad about. What a wonderful time of year! Stick around for the poll.

WE GOT A KICKER COULD KICK YOUR ASS.

Everyone always has a great off-season in the weight room. And when a new strength & conditioning coach arrives on campus...hoo boy! You won’t believe how drastically everyone’s routine changes and how much strength they seem to build up out of nowhere with a fresh set of techniques, etc. It’s incredible. Anyway, you always hear all about that, but rarely do you hear about a kicker making huge strides in the weight room. Enter Daniel LaCamera.

“He’s gotten way more powerful in the weight room,” Banks said of LaCamera’s commitment to regaining strength with proper technique. “Now what you see is a guy who’s very accurate, and the ball jumps off of his foot. We’re expecting great things from him.”

This is rarely-encountered coachspeak for “our kicker got swole” and we cannot wait to see him make some tackles on kickoffs.
