The early weeks of football season in Texas, however joyous, are usually pretty miserable when it comes to temperatures. That’s why many fans were pleasantly surprised to see Texas A&M’s early season slate give somewhat of a reprieve from these conditions. The Aggies start the season in Pasadena, facing UCLA in the Rose Bowl at 6:30 p.m. (central time) on Fox. They then return to College Station for their home opener on Sept. 9, yet another evening kickoff, this time at 6 p.m. on ESPNU.
But we all knew the penance would come, and it has come in the form of Sept. 16. When the Ags take on the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns, they’ll do so at the dreaded 11 a.m. kickoff time on SEC Network.
