Jimbo Fisher is now in his second full week as head coach of the Texas A&M Aggies, and it appears that his offensive coaching staff may be complete with the announcement that Tim Brewster will follow Fisher from Florida State to become the tight ends coach in College Station. In addition to coaching at FSU since 2013, Brewster was previously the head coach at Minnesota, and an assistant coach under Mack Brown at both North Carolina and Texas. He famously was the primary recruiter who convinced Vince Young to come to Austin, and his reputation as an elite recruiter has continued to this day.
I will now join Jimbo in College Station. God Bless and always #GoNoles

This comes on the heels of the Monday announcement of Darrell Dickey as A&M’s offensive coordinator, who will also serve as the quarterbacks coach. Fisher is also bringing with him two more members of his FSU staff in Running Backs Coach Jay Graham and Wide Receivers Coach Dameyune Craig.
That leaves the only remaining question mark at offensive line coach, and it seems Sumlin holdover Jim Turner is still a potential hire. Turner accompanied Fisher (along with Terry Price and Jeff Banks) to an in-home visit with offensive line commit Colten Blanton on Dec. 5. While the Aggies offensive line play was questionable in 2017, they return all five starters, and Turner has much more experience in a pro style offense (which Jimbo prefers) than the zone-read-based spread attack that Mazzone employed.
Thank you Coach Fisher, Coach Turner, Coach Banks and Coach Price for stopping by the house tonight! Can’t wait to be there in January! #GigEmGang18 pic.twitter.com/EJKIdLHJaG

No hires have been made yet on the defensive side of the ball, but Defensive Ends Coach Terry Price seems like the most likely candidate to be retained. The Aggies pass rush results in recent seasons speak for themselves, even with the departure of Myles Garrett, and Price was also one of the better recruiters on Kevin Sumlin’s staff. He has also been seen often on the recruiting trail with Fisher over the past week.
