On Tuesday morning, Aggies woke up to a pleasant surprise first reported by the Orlando Sentinel.
Antwann Jones, a four-star prospect from Orlando, Florida committed to the Aggies last night, and signed this morning in the early signing period. Jones is the first A&M commit, and signee, in the basketball class of 2018.
"We’re excited to add Antwann to our program," Texas A&M head coach Billy Kennedy said in a statement. "He is a versatile, big guard who can help us in many ways as well as another talented athlete who will make our team better."
Jones was previously committed to Oklahoma State, but opened up his recruitment after the FBI probe into Oklahoma State’s basketball program.
