College baseball season is a little more than a month away, but with the way football and basketball have been going, it’s never too early to turn your focus to the diamond. Adidas and Texas A&M did just that with the unveiling of throwback uniforms for the 2017 season.

The uniforms feature a return to the “Texas Aggies” moniker, with a white jersey and maroon piping. The cap is white with a maroon bill, with a maroon block T. The uniform recreates a look that made its first appearance in 1949.
The uniform is a part of Adidas’ “Heritage” series, which also features throwback uniforms for Arizona State, Louisville, Miami, Mississippi State, Nebraska and North Carolina State.
The Aggie baseball team begins their 2017 campaign against Bowling Green on Friday, Feb. 17.
