Texas A&M Athletics announced through their twitter account today that the Texas A&M Football team will wear red, white & blue Texas A&M decals on white helmets to remember the events of 9/11.

In addition to the helmets, MyAggieNation reports that gloves, base layers, and cleats will also be themed to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy. The base layer and cleats are embroidered with the phrase “Standing for America,” tying the Texas A&M tradition of standing during the football game to the patriotic attire.
