Wizards sign Danuel House to two-year deal

The signing gives House a legitimate chance to make the Wizards opening day NBA roster. He averaged 12.0 points per game on 45% shooting from beyond the arc during the Las Vegas Summer League.

After a sparkling run in the summer league, House notched a partially guaranteed two-year deal.

What does this mean? The Wizards love what they saw from him in the Summer League, and they are offering money (the % guaranteed is unclear) to come to training camp.

This is not a guarantee of a roster spot, but it a very positive sign and a surefire indication the first significant hurdle has been cleared.

This signing places House in significant competition with fellow undrafted rookies Sheldon McClellan (Miami) and Daniel Ochefu (Villanova), who received similar partially guaranteed deals.

Best of luck, Danuel!
