SEC Media Days may be over, but the there seems to be no end in sight for Texas A&M’s string of class of 2017 commits. Head Coach Kevin Sumlin added commit number 18 when four-star Dallas Kimball linebacker Devodrick Johnson pledged to the Aggies on Thursday night following an unofficial visit to campus.

The 6’2”, 200-pound Johnson is ranked as the 19th-best outside linebacker in the country and the 43rd-best player in Texas according to 247 Sports. He is the Aggies’ second commit at linebacker, joining IMG Academy’s Santino Marchiol.
