After an astounding eight commitments in June, Texas A&M begins July right where they left off, securing a commitment from 3-star wide receiver Camron Buckley from Cedar Hill, Texas. Buckley received a scholarship offer from the Aggies on Thursday, and wasted little time in pulling the trigger on a commitment. He is ranked among the top 50 receivers in the country and the top 50 players in Texas by 247 Sports.

Buckley had scholarship offers from several major programs, including Auburn, Houston, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, TCU, Texas and Texas Tech. He becomes the 17th member of A&M’s 2017 recruiting class, which is currently ranked sixth in the country and third in the SEC. And maybe most important of all, he is the second member of this recruiting class named Camron.
