Texas A&M has added a new non-conference football opponent to their 2019 schedule, according to FBSschedules.com, as the Texas State Bobcats will visit College Station to open the season on Aug. 31, 2019. Texas State will reportedly receive $1.3 million for the honor of playing Texas A&M.
The Aggies and Bobcats last faced each other in 2005, when the threat of Hurricane Rita making landfall forced the game to be moved from Saturday to Thursday night.
