Vegas releases 2016 college football win totals

Take your rage and indignation up with your bookie.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Las Vegas is known for it's false idols, it's douchey pool parties, buffets, and for capitalizing off of emotional, dopey suckers (that's us!).

As someone with a reptilian brain that is drawn to risky vices, I relish olde fashioned games of chance including wagering on team sports.

The bookmakers in Las Vegas have released the preliminary batch of win totals for all 128 college football teams.

Team Win Total Prices
Alabama 10 Over +100 Under -120
LSU 10 Over +100 Under -120
Tennessee 9.5 Over +105 Under -125
Georgia 8.5 Over -110 Under -110
Ole Miss 8.5 Over +100 Under -120
Arkansas 7.5 Over -120 Under +100
Florida 7.5 Over -125 Under +105
Auburn 6.5 Over -110 Under -110
Mississippi State 6.5 Over -120 Under +100
Texas A&M 6 Over -120 Under +100
Missouri 5.5 Over -110 Under -110
Kentucky 5 Over -110 Under -110
South Carolina 5 Over -110 Under -110
Vanderbilt 5 Over -110 Under -110

For the Baptists, here's what "prices" are - minus odds of -120 mean you'd have to wager $120 to win $100 and plus odds of +120 mean a wager of $100 would win you $120.

  • These win totals are going to move over the next three months. Vegas hedges around the whims and emotions of the most psychotic humans on earth - college football fans.
  • That number 6 is ugly as hell ain't it? Stings bad. Barely bowl eligible. Instead of doing the quintessential Aggie thing of getting absurdly indignant thinking Vegas hates Texas A&M, load up your Ford F-250 King Ranch with Clayton Heldenfels, haul to Vegas, and put your offended asses' money where your mouth is. Put all your savings on the Over and enjoy the most stressful season of your lifetime. October might kill you.

Other Texas teams

Team Win Total Prices
Baylor 9.5 Over +100 Under -120
TCU 8 Over -125 Under -105
Texas Tech 7 Over -110 Under -110
Texas 6.5 Over -110 Under -110
Houston 9.5 Over -135 Under +115

  • Vegas is baiting you hard to take the Under on Baylor. Might be a trap? That team is still stacked with talent. I'd stay away from picking here, but gun to my head, I probably take the Under.
  • I'd probably go Over on TCU and Under on Houston.
Happy gambling, degenerates.
