BOUNCYBALLL KEEPS GOING. Anyone kinda just a bit worried that we are going to play UNI? Their game against the Longhorns left some Ags a bit disappointed that the Lonestar Showdown couldn't have a 2016 postseason extension but you have to hand it to the Panthers with their buzzerbeater that crushed the hopes and dreams of those folks in Austin. Have a great time watching today's game at 6:45 PM on TruTV? That's a channel...Hey, do you not have weird cable packages, but you want to watch basketball? You can use an NCAA app (Android/Apple) to watch on your devices. BTHO uni!
SHOOTYHOOPS IN AGGIELAND ALSO SUCCESSFUL. So far March has been a good month for the Aggie basketball teams. Part of the NCAA Women's Basketball tournament is being held in Reed Arena with the Aggies making a great show of it with an impressive win over Missouri State (which is totally a school, I checked). Setting a NCAA tourney record of 27 rebounds was freshman Anriel Howard She also is the first freshman to have more than 21 rebounds in a tournament game. Whoop. Ags move on to the next round to play Florida State tomorrow. Not sure if #FSUtwitter is as active with their women's basketball team, but it could be interesting to provoke them anyway.
SPLIT GAMES IN ALABAMA. The Aggie baseball team played a full double header today with Auburn and sadly broke the win streak they have been on. The first game was hit happy at 17 with 5 doubles and ended in a 12-8 win for the Ags. However, the second game of the day was less than stellar with a 7-9 loss that included opportunistic errors, allowing the Tigers to gain the lead. Ags try to reclaim the series today at 1 PM on SEC Network+.
MISSING HATING ON LSU? Here's your chance to get that aggression out. The #10 softball team is also in a rubber match this weekend with some tigers. Winning their first game on Friday against the #4 LSU team in a solid 6-2 finish with three home runs. Unfortunately, the Ags couldn't keep up the momentum and dropped the second game in poor fashion. The ladies have the opportunity to climb the rankings with a series win over the Tigers today at 12:30 PM on SEC Network+.
CAL TAKES ANOTHER AGGIE. Former student and Offensive Lineman Jeremiah Stuckey has made his graduate school plans and they are at Cal. He is a Cali native and played with the Aggies in 2014 and 2015. He joins former OC Jake Spavital at Cal and will be in a starting position. Should be a good fit for him and we wish him the best.
