Well, well, well... We meet again

Tonight at 6:35 pm, for the first time since the 2014 Houston Regional and the first time at Olsen since 2012, Rob Childress and the Aggies take on Soggy Burrito, er, Augie Garrido and the Longhorns. Tickets have been sold out for quite a while now, and you know that Olsen will be packed. The atmosphere will certainly be a fun one.

unranked Texas (7-9) vs. #3 Texas A&M (15-1)
6:35 PM

Probable Starters

Texas - Morgan Cooper (3-0, 1.50)

Cooper is one of Garrido's best arms, but he has been pitching on Tuesdays in order to get back into the swing of things on the mound. In his 12.0 innings this season, Cooper has struck out a whopping 16 batters, while walking only four. He has a low-to-mid 90s fastball and a devastating curveball. This should be yet another good test for the Aggie bats.

Texas A&M - Corbin Martin (1-0, 6.59)/Brigham Hill (2-0, 1.40)

Martin, as you may know, started the season in the weekend rotation, even appearing in the Friday contest against Pepperdine. He has electric stuff and a mid 90s fastball, but he has been prone to the big inning all year.

Hill doesn't necessarily have the stuff that Martin has, but his control and consistency is his biggest asset. He has struck out 19 hitters in his 19.1 innings of work, while walking only two. His ability to throw strikes consistently has led to Hill being one of the first arms out of the bullpen.
