The losing streak is over!
Ole Miss never seriously threatened in the second half, and A&M used an extremely balanced attack to pace a 71-56 victory over the Rebels.
Let's break it down.

JDMyatt is a witch
I'm not saying we should burn him at the stake, but I'm also not saying we shouldn't. In his preview, he slyly referenced a 5-20 shooting night for leading scorer Stefan Moody... who posted a pedestrian 5-19 performance in the face of some relentless Aggie defense.
Is JDMyatt capable of black magic? If so, should we maybe not burn him and use his powers down the stretch? These are the questions.
Unlimited Balance
A few impressive points from today's performance:
- Everyone who saw the floor scored at least four points, and four guys hit double figures.
- Five guys took at least seven shots, with no one taking more than twelve
- The team dialed up the aggressiveness and converted from the stripe (15-19 FT's)
- The Aggies had 16 assists on 26 made baskets
We also made a concerted effort to find Tyler Davis down low during a stretch in the second half that put the game to bed. Here's hoping we can keep that in mind this Saturday.
Destruction on the glass
The Rebels couldn't handle us on the glass. The Aggies out-rebounded Ole Miss 50-36, with (again) a tremendous amount of balance. Nobody hit double figures, but five guys grabbed at least six boards.

There aren't a ton of individual performances to point out... but again, that's a testament to our ridiculously balanced Box Score.
We spread the wealth on offense, we executed a fantastic team-wide defensive plan on Moody, and we cleaned the glass with a focus and intensity that would make a janitor blush.
Most importantly... we're back in the win column. And Kentucky (and College Gameday) are coming to town on Saturday.
