The NFL announced the 2016 Scouting Combine participants on Thursday, and when the annual pre-draft event begins on Feb. 23 in Indianapolis, it will include six Texas A&M football players. The list of Aggies includes:
Tra Carson, RB
Joseph Cheek, OG
De'Vante Harris, CB
Germain Ifedi, OG
Drew Kaser, P
Brandon Williams, CB
The only SEC West schools with more players invited to the combine are Alabama (9) and Auburn (8). Arkansas, Mississippi State and Ole Miss also have six invitees, and LSU has five. Under the category of schools we care nothing about, Texas had only one player invited to the combine from a once very highly touted recruiting class.
Crazy thing about #Texas having just 1 player invited to NFL Combine.. Horns 2012 recruiting class had 28 guys & was ranked No. 2 back then.
