Congrats are in order for Tyler Davis, who played extremely well across a tightly-packed three game week, averaging 18 points and 8 rebounds per contest.

Davis played sparingly in a huge win over Denver, but he looked excellent in the two games that were close enough to require extended minutes.
- vs. Texas A&M Corpus Christi: 30 minutes; 25 points (9/12 shooting); 8 rebounds
- vs. South Carolina State: 26 minutes; 22 points (8/9 shooting); 8 rebounds
Put simply, his offensive output this week was just absurd. If he wasn’t immediately doubled, he either scored or was fouled. And that’s not a bad place to start an offense.
A week-long gap is in order this week, before a massive game in Houston against the #19 Arizona Wildcats.
