NFL: Denver Broncos at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jonathan Dyer-USA TODAY Sports

This weekend held some bad news, and was overall not very spectacular for Aggies in the NFL. Especially for Jaguars offensive lineman Luke Joeckel, who has been placed on Injured Reserve due to a knee injury. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery and the best of luck to him. Also, Ryan Tannehill melted like a Creamsicle in July against the Bengals on Thursday night, getting sacked 5 times. Furthermore, Brandon Williams is inactive this week against the 49ers.

Now on to the good:

4) Josh Lambo

Lambo went 2 for 2 on field goals with a season long of 47 yards, and was perfect on 4 extra points. Lambo is 8 for 9 on the season (88.9%) kicking FGs. I think it’s because of the facial hair.

3) Mike Evans (5 catches 59 yards)

Although Mike Evans had a pedestrian day against the Broncos, he is still having one heck of a season as he is in the top 10 in in receiving yards, receptions, and touchdowns.

2) Shane Lechler (3 punts, 41.0 yd average, 1 inside the 20, long of 58)

Last week, Shane Lechler passed the 60,000 career punt yard mark. This week, he moved into second place in all time career punting yards behind Jeff Feagle.

1) Von Miller (2 tackles; .5 Sacks)

Von Miller and the Broncos’ defense was able to limit Jamies Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. But the real news is that Von Miller’s DMs have been blowing up since doing the ESPN Body Issue. I’m sure they’re just asking about his farm fresh eggs.

In addition, Von and Mike got to swap jerseys after the game and these types of pictures never get old to me.

Gig ‘em guys, and hope for a better weekend this week!
