PULSIN’ IT. A new installment of 12th Man Productions’ series The Pulse came out last night. This show is much more enjoyable when the team wins at the end. They should weave that into the script each week.

FIRST HALF STUFF FROM THE DALLAS RAG. Dallas Morning News takes a look at the first half of the season. I can’t read this article because evidently I’ve used up my allotment for the month. Newspapers are just making up revenue streams at this point in a feeble effort to stay solvent - customer experience be damned to hell. Good Bull Hunting will forever be gratis, dear reader.

SHOOTER SCATTIN’. Our good ol’ palski has more thoughts, musings, ruminations, and hallucinated reasonings on the college football landscape this week.

WHO WILL STAY UNBEATEN WILL IT BE YOU. CBS examines which of the 11 remaining unbeaten teams in mid-October have the best opportunity to remain unbeaten by the end of the season. NOTE: history shows that at least one team in the Top 4 right now will drop a game that no one saw coming. That’s why we love this batshit crazy game. Also of note - the SEC hasn’t had an undefeated champion since 2011.

A NOBEL PRIZE FOR WHAT. This isn’t very internet taeky of me (unusual), but I don’t have a particularly strong opinion on Bob Dylan. I like some of his songs. I love the rambling odyssey ballad of Hurricane. His voice sucks ass, but that’s not some deal breaker for me. He’s kind of a fussy figure of the "cultured" intelligencia in this country. This became even more evident when Dylan won a Nobel Prize for LITERATURE this week.

I know that no one reads anymore (most of you are already dicking off in the ‘mments with memes and gifs while not reading this), but is this where we’re at now? If Dylan gets an award for literature, I demand that my blog taeks win an Emmy AND a Tony posthaste.
