Baseball America Pegs Aggies as Preseason No. 3

This is fun. This is a fun time.

Just about two weeks ago, we saw and Perfect Game list the Aggie baseball team in the top five of their initial rankings at No. 5 and No. 4, respectively. Well, this morning Baseball America debuted their own preseason top 25, with the Ags checking in at No. 3.

In total, six SEC teams were included, including No. 1 Florida, who seems to be the consensus top team in the country. The Ags travel to Gainesville on the weekend of April 1st, which is shaping up to be the biggest weekend series of the year.

Hopefully new Athletic Director Scott Woodward isn't going to attempt to manage our expectations because that will be pretty tough with all of the hype Rob Childress' Aggies are receiving from the national baseball writers. If these rankings are any indicator, the 2016 season could be a special one in Aggieland. 25 days to Aggie Baseball, y'all!

Baseball America's Top 25 (SEC teams)
