ABBREV BB. With last night's baseball game being cancelled, today the Ags will play two 7 inning games in Oxford starting at 1 PM. Watch on SEC Network+ and WatchESPN.
WALKS ON STAGE, SHUT DOWN WALKS. Newly minted former student and pitcher Rachel Fox goes straight from Reed Arena with her degree to the pitcher's mound to get a win for the Aggie Softball team against Lehigh yesterday for the first round of the NCAA Tourney. It was a strong defensive game with the score only getting to 2-1, but there were some good hits from Brittany Clopton and Tori Vidales. The first round continues today at 1:30 PM against Oklahoma. Winner plays the winner of the loser's bracket (Central Arkansas/Lehigh) at 6 PM on ESPN3.
TENNIS KEEPS THE BALL IN THE AIR. (Ugh tennis puns are hard.) But the Aggie Men's Tennis team took down Ohio State yesterday in the third round of the NCAA Tourney to continue on into the quarterfinals against #3 Virginia today at 4 PM.
I'D GIVE YOU MY LOVE BUT THAT MEANS NOTHING. Women's tennis did't have as much good luck as the men's team, falling to UCLA in the round of 16 yesterday. The #6 Bruins gave the Aggies a rough run wining 4-1. They had a great 17-6 season. Great effort, ladies!
Good luck to Ags who are graduating today, don't let falling on your face be the end of your student experience in Aggieland.
