The Texas A&M basketball team has some work left to do if they hope to make the NCAA Tournament, but the uniform design team has been working overtime in order to bring you Adidas' newest gimmick uniform revolution: #courtouflage. The various uniform elements have been designed to mimick the look of the basketball court, adding to aesthetics while also making it more difficult for defenders to find their assignments.
As the most trustworthy source of Aggie uniform information on the internet, Good Bull Hunting has been chosen to debut this new uniform. Let's take a look at the various elements. These are fake, FYI.
This home uniform allows maximum #courtouflage while still showcasing A&M's traditional bevel. "Aggie Spirit" is embroidered into the neckline because this uniform is literally beind modeled by a ghost.
This black away uniform is necessary in case A&M is matched up with one of the 15 other teams to whom Adidas gave this exact same uniform template.
How are our players' ankles? You'll never know with these custom #courtouflage socks.
The woodgrain on these shoes is so believable that St. Nicholas came and put presents in them on Dec. 5.
In addition to the hardcourt pattern, this ball has been proven to improve free throw accuracy by 20%. The ball is in no way legal - in fact you'd be disqualified if you tried to use it - but our design team spent a lot of time and money creating it, so here it is.
While coaches aren't normally on the court, this #courtouflage suit allows coaches to hide along the baseline if they, say, completely mis-manage substitutions in crucial situations.
