Well, it may be a schedule geared towards an easy 2-0... but as DerekAggie06 noted, we're actually making it look easy.

Two games. Two blowouts. Two offensive outputs in triple digits. Regardless of the opponent, you have to be impressed by these national rankings among the 345 teams in D1 basketball.

Again, I know it's early. But we typically slot in the high 100's (or low 200's) for most of these categories, and we're chilling in the top ten. Warrants mentioning. And to anyone concerned about our turnover number, I refer you to the official GBH turnover policy.

But before we get there, the Ags have another warm-up again tonight against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The maroon and white should handle them with ease, but the Islanders are a squad coming off a 20-win season last year and returned four starters, including preseason All-Southland forward Rashawn Thomas comings off a 30 point-12 rebound performance in their opener. And though A&M has lit up the scoreboard, turnovers have been an issue at the start of this year and the fast-paced tempo has at times led to disorientation that could cause concern once the competition level amps up.
