Linebacker Zach Whitley Transferring from UCLA: Is Texas A&M a Possible Landing Spot?

Texas A&M lost the recruiting battle for Zach Whitley to UCLA last year. Could the talented linebacker still end up in Aggieland?

Jonathan Frey, Galena Park ISD

UCLA's freshman linebacker Zach Whitley is expected to transfer and has already had contact with Texas A&M, according to the Orange County Register. Once committed to Alabama before opting for Los Angeles, Whitley was recruited by the Aggies as a four-star prospect in the 2014 class. Whitley was reportedly dismissed from UCLA for a rules violation after seeing limited action in his first year with the program. Does Texas A&M, in dire need of linebacker help, make sense as a destination close to Whitley's home in Houston?
