On the evening of Jan. 29, Kevin Sumlin and his staff went into the home of quarterback commit Kyler Murray, knowing that - in some ways - the fate of their recruiting class hung in the balance. We now know that this visit led Murray to re-affirm his commitment to the Aggies, but what led to that decision? We take a look at Thursday evening's events.
Sumlin arrived with "Power" blaring from his boombox. What an entrance.
This transitioned into a very emotional poster presentation.
Finally, all of the parties had arrived and the in-home visit could begin.
While pumping up his A&M squad, Sumlin was also quick to illustrate the current state of the Longhorn program.
Murray and Sumlin were clicking on every level, and from a football standpoint there was nothing more to be said. So they decided to make bunk beds to give Kyler more room for activities.
After the bunk-bed construction, they were pretty hungry, so Kevin and Kyler headed out to grab some food.
It was eventful trip, but they eventually reached their destination.
At this point the visit was complete, and there was only one more thing for Kyler to do.
Following my heart... #GigEm

As he walked away, Sumlin left Murray with a simple message: "Don't you forget about me."
