Earlier today, Gilmer defensive back Kris Boyd tweeted that he would be announcing his decision live at 1:30pm.

Just moments ago, Ricky Doyle of Time Warner Cable news in Austin tweeted that Texas football fans should get excited about a 1:30 announcement on their network:

Texas football fans: we'll have a big recruiting announcement live on @TWCNewsAustin at 1:30pm this afternoon.

That's too much of a coincidence to be one, so at this point I think we can call the race in favor of the Longhorns. It's likely that Lamar cornerback Holton Hill will follow suit, and commit to Texas with Boyd.
