The latest "Bracketology" by ESPN's Joe Lunardi has Texas A&M in the NCAA Basketball Tournament, specifically the 12-seed play-in game against George Washington.
Lunardi had Texas A&M listed in his "first four out" of the tournament in the two previous editions of Bracketology, but A&M's 71-61 victory over Auburn on Jan. 27 put the Aggies' resume over the hump, for the time being. Texas A&M has now won five straight games in Southeastern Conference play after starting 0-2. It's the first time the Aggies have won five consecutive conference games since 2010-11, which is also the last time they went to the NCAA Tournament.
The Aggies face Vanderbilt at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at Reed Arena in College Station. The game will be broadcast in the SEC Network, and everyone in attendance is encouraged to wear white.
