Following the U.S. Men's National Team's inspired loss to Germany, we noticed that Belgium was our likely opponent in the first knockout round. Since we are best friends/worst enemies with Waffle House, we immediately sought their opinion on Belgian waffles.
We dominate them RT @GBHunting: . @WaffleHouse what's your opinion on Belgian waffles?

Now our tweet is popping up all over the internet which is great because attention is the currency we trade in.
Today.com - Al Roker turned us down for GBH weather reporter.
USAToday - We are disappointed they didn't include us in a pie chart infographic using a waffle.
BusinessWeek - The cover of Fortune is only a matter of time.
MLS - If Major League Soccer noticing us doesn't get us Twitter verified, what will?
Buzzfeed - Is this embarrassing or should I leave it here?
Waffle House has since continued their campaign against Belgian waffles.
We don't believe in Belgium waffles

TMZ contacted Waffle House for an official statement:
"We support a boycott on Belgian Waffles," the spokesperson said. "We support America. We don’t support Belgian Waffles."
Our dirty secret is that we were beaten to tweeting Waffle House by Fletcher Massie, but he's one of our authors so be cool.
