Hmm. Pretty off-seasony day yesterday, but here's the recap (click for stories):
- Early morning: Oh man we lost two defensive starters to a bad crime situation, our season is now the pits.
- Late morning: See, here's the depth chart...well, maybe things aren't quite completely ruined.
- Lunchtime: Wait, how did Sumlin get a star defensive recruit to commit in the middle of all this?
- Midafternoon: Holy shit, this guy is really good!
Twelve more weeks until football. That's really not that long, when you think about it. It's the approximate amount of time it takes to read a BON thread about Texas not being worried about A&M.
THE FIX IS IN. Saturday Down South takes a look at the Sporting News Pre-Season All American team, which features 18 SEC players in the three-deep. Of course I feel that Ced was slighted by not being named first team, but the real travesty is that the only returning Ray Guy Finalist is somehow not the best punter in the country. This blatant Sun Belt favoritism is repulsive. Do not anger Drew Kaser.
The brand-new David Beaty wide receiver workout:
Focuses on hand-eye coordination, patience, dexterity, and self-reliance. Receivers will learn to bait the defensive backs and lure them into bad positions that will enable Aggies to reel in long passes and huge net gains.
