Congrats to AJ Minter and @Nick_Banks4 for making the roster for @USABaseballCNT. That makes 5 Members from @Aggie_Baseball since 2011.

As Coach Seely points out, Minter and Banks are the 4th and 5th A&M players to be named to this squad since 2011. Recent Houston Astros signee Daniel Mengden, St. Louis Cardinals standout pitcher Michael Wacha, and Cleveland Indians prospect Tyler Naquin all have represented A&M for the USA over the last 3 years.
Banks continued to build upon his impressive freshman season at A&M, posting a .368 batting average for the USA team with 7 RBI and 5 runs. Minter, meanwhile, made the most of his two appearances for the team, tossing 5 shutout innings and only allowing 1 hit while striking out 4.
The Collegiate National Team will now get set to play 5 games against Chinese Taipei from July 1-5 across North Carolina. The USA team will then host Japan for a 3 game series in other North Carolina cities prior to traveling to the Netherlands for Honkbal-Haarlem Baseball Week July 11-20. After that, the team will head to Cuba for a 5-game Friendship Series against the host country from July 23-27.
Congrats and best of luck to Nick and A.J.!
