Oh, just setting some records. Jordan Jones notched just the third triple-double in A&M WBB history last night as the team rolled over Arkansas 77-54. At 12-3 in conference play, the team has a shot at tying their best conference record in school history with a win over Florida on Sunday.
Practice? We are talking about practice. The football team kicks off spring practice today. With no spring game this year we'll just have to hang on every day's report for a fix. Sam Khan Jr. gives a nice overview here, and reminds us that TCU transfer A.J. Hilliard will be available this year at linebacker.
I TELL YOU WHAT JAWS I'D DRAFT THIS GUY EARLY I CALL HIM QUARTERBACK BECAUSE HE PLAYS QUARTERBACK. A couple days after ESPN's Ron Jaworski said he wouldn't draft Manziel in the first three rounds, his fellow commentator Jovial Jon Gruden says otherwise. The takes that have been set up by this public discrepancy are just molten hot in nature, and one can imagine ESPN licking their chops at the prospect of putting the two on screen together again.
CRANK IT UP. Expect SEC stadiums to be a little bit louder this year as several stadiums will be relaxing rules on blasting clips of music over their PA systems. No word yet on whether or not the Aggie Band will be playing snippets of the Imperial Death March from Star Wars during TV commercials.
OK, good job guys. It's Friday, we've knocked out another month, and you deserve a motivational coaching gif.
