Rumors of LSU's John Chavis filling Texas A&M's defensive coordinator vacancy

There is a lot of smoke surrounding John Chavis taking the defensive coordinator position at Texas A&M.

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

LSU defensive coordinator John Chavis is regarded as one of the best in the game, and he may be heading to Texas A&M. "The Chief" has coached at LSU since 2009 where he won the Broyles Award as the best assistant coach in 2011. Chavis has put 19 players into the NFL draft during his tenure at LSU.

Most of the information right now is coming from the LSU side, so we'll keep watching for developments from the A&M media.
