Happy Monday. Hope everybody had a relaxing rest of the weekend yesterday and all I can think to say is oh boy, poor SMU. They're about to run into an angry buzz saw.

Percentages. Here's something interesting that blumby posted yesterday: in the past 16 games Alabama has played dating back to the beginning of 2012, Johnny Manziel has accounted for over 20% of the yards given up by their defense: 907/4,340.

Best in Texas. Looks like we're still at the top of this made-up thing, even after a loss. GIG 'EM, DMN.

It ain't over. This team is still very much in the hunt for anything, as Andy Staples notes. There's plenty of things to look forward to despite the loss.

Penalties. Lost in the flurry of postgame reactions was the fact that Alabama was flagged a ton. They were dinged 12 times for over 100 yards, which is the most for them since 2007. Surely ESPN will be talking all week about how undisciplined they are and how Nick Saban has lost control of the team.

Have a great week everyone. Bring on SMU.
