Thomas Campbell-US PRESSWIRE

President Loftin announced today that he will be stepping down as the President of Texas A&M University effective January 13, 2014.

Instant reaction: NOOOOOOOOOOO!

I know I am definitely upset about President Loftin stepping down from his current role. We are talking about the bowtie wearing badass that engineered the move to the SEC. The Monopoly look-alike that can be spotted hittin' the Dougie on the sidelines during Midnight Yell. R. Bowen Loftin will be an Aggie legend that is remembered for a lot of things for many years to come. First and foremost, I'll remember him as the man that stepped behind the reigns of one of the finest institutions in all the land and guided us to an unprecedented territory where future generations of Aggies for years to come can benefit from his fine leadership. Let us know in the comments what you'll always remember about Dr. Loftin.

And to Dr. Loftin, we at Good Bull Hunting thank you, love you, and will put you on the Aggie Mount Rushmore regardless of what the voters say.

Thanks and Gig 'em!
