THE MOST IMPORTANT RANKINGS OF THE SEASON. Yesterday the team ratings for EA SPORTS NCAA FOOTBALL 2014 were released. They include such Nostradamic prognostications as 1) Iowa being good at football and 2) Texas having an offense as good as A&M's.

THEY DID GET ONE THING RIGHT. Johnny Manziel is the second highest rated player in NCAA 2014, and the best offensive player. The centaur Jadeveon Clowney is the highest rated player in the game.

ALL-AMERICANS. The Aggie Track teams had a combined 36 All-Americans this year including 18 first team All-Americans. Truly impressive, Mr. Henry & Co.

FIRST DOUBLE TAKE. Yesterday, Johnny was a "surprise" guest on ESPN's First Take with noted sports minds Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless. He again acquitted himself well on national television, despite having to respond to such obvious questions as do you think you are a better passer than Tim Tebow?

ONE GOOD ARTICLE TO HELP YOU PROCRASTINATE TODAY. We've entered the blasted desert lands of the offseason, and soon all we will have is Major League Baseball to distract us from our daily grind. This excellent piece on the merits of mental toughness in pitching might add a little polish to that dull veneer for you.

Have a great Wednesday, Ags. I can't recall how many days until football, but I know we must be one day closer. That's all from the Daily Bull...for now.
