Bouncyball. The Men's team made a strong push late in the second half, but came up short in the end against LSU last night 68-57. They'll play at Arkansas on Saturday in their final regular season game before the SEC Tourney tips off next Wednesday. If you get a chance, check out DerekAggie06's look back at this year's senior class, who has been through a lot together.
Three All-Conference performers. The WBB team had three members named to All-SEC teams. Kelsey Bone was first team, Adrienne Pratcher was second team, and Courtney Walker was all-Freshman. They'll tip off in the SEC Tourney Quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon.
ONE MORE DAY TO VOTE FOR SWOPE. Tomorrow is the last day to redeem our reputation for winning Internet polls. Not only can you vote, but you can immediately make your own EA Sports cover and earn the chance to win free stuff in just a few clicks. Don't forget, GBH Staff are not eligible to win the cover contest, and right now most of the entries are from...GBH Staff. Spread the word and win a shirt. I mean...the other two finalists are a guy who lost his starting job and a guy we beat head-to-head.
SPECIAL FEATURE: INTERVIEW WITH #10 SEAN PORTER.
Please check back tomorrow as Lucas Jackson shares his interview with Sean Porter. They're talking NFL Combine experiences, impressions on our first year in the SEC, and much, much more.
Fully insured. Johnny Manziel's family is taking the precaution of obtaining an insurance policy to help protect his potential NFL earnings in case of injury. Johnny sat down with Kirk Herbstreit recently also for a quick talk.
ESPN hates us! I mean, they're telling other teams to watch out for us because we are good! Conspiracy, I say.
Storytime. Colorado brought us a great tale the other day about an intentional train wreck (happened near Waco, of course). If you want more obscure Texas History stories, please post requests in the comments. I have a few, but unfortunately they are mostly unsavory and involve my ancestors.
It's only Thursday?!?! Happy Birthday, Bryan Cranston. We feel your pain.
