You may have seen his photo missing from the dozens of Heisman graphics flashed up on television in the past few weeks, but in typical Manziel fashion, he's eluded critics once again and will be one of six Heisman finalists in New York this weekend.
Johnny will join Florida State QB Jameis Winston, Northern Illinois QB Jordan Lynch, Alabama QB AJ McCarron, Boston College RB Andre Williams, and Auburn RB Tre Mason for the ceremony that will air Saturday at 7 P.M. CT on ESPN.
This is only the third time in Heisman Trophy history that six finalists have been named. The last time it happened was in 1994.
While Winston is the clear front-runner at this point, it could be interesting to see how the votes will be split with two ACC candidates and three SEC candidates.
It's about time someone listened to us. Nice work, Ranger222.
