To help get us through the break until the Chick-fil-a bowl, we decided to put together a playoff bracket to let you decide the best play of the 2013 Texas A&M football season. We'll be putting out 2 GIFs or videos each day as we go through our bracket.
At 1:35 in the 4th quarter Mississippi State game, with Texas A&M up 51-41, the team decided to take a knee and end the game, hoping Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen would follow suit. Instead, Coach Mullen decided to call his first of three timeouts. On the second kneel down, Johnny Manziel decided that he would shake a little extra time off the clock , and he did it in full Johnny Manziel style.
In the opening game against Rice, Kyle Field was amped while awaiting the return of Johnny Manziel to the field. Upon seeing Rice's ability to score against our defense, everyone just hoped Matt Joeckel and the Texas A&M offense would keep the game close until Manziel had served out his laughable first half suspension. With the game tied 14 all in the 2nd quarter, Joeckel threw a dart to RSJ for a 71 yard TD. It was the only game we really got to see RSJ before he suffered a knee injury. We're all excited to see what he can do next year.
