Following a shoulder injury sustained during Saturday's loss to Auburn, Johnny Manziel was wearing a sling during Monday's practice according to Texas A&M WR Mike Evans.
A&M WR Mike Evans just said Manziel was in a sling during Monday's practice.

As panic began to set in for Aggies everywhere, Bruce Feldman came to the rescue and kept us from all jumping off the nearest cliff.
Am told Johnny Manziel will be fine to play Sat and is out of sling today, per source. #Aggies

WHEW! I can breathe again. Brent Zwerneman went on to clarify the sling statement with some quotes from WR Travis Labhart.
WR Labhart said Manziel was mainly in sling during practice primarily to keep him from throwing passes -- because such a competitor.

Labhart said Manziel was throwing passes to WRs during drills with his left hand on Monday. Crazy competitor.

Have I mentioned recently that I love Johnny Manziel?
I'd rather have Johnny Football throwing left-handed than probably 9 of the QBs in the Big 12.

Coach Sumlin went on to list Johnny's status for Saturday as "hopeful." We're not sure whether that is better or worse than Coach's common injury status "probably probable."

So, how are you feeling after this whirlwind of quotes this morning? Still concerned at all about Johnny's status for the weekend? Do you think the injury affects our gameplan? If Johnny were to miss any time, who would you rather see under center - Matt Joeckel or Kenny Hill?
