Following the surprising home loss to Auburn, the Aggies take a big dive in the rankings. Dropping 7-8 spots seems harsh after losing to a ranked team, but having 2 losses will do that with so many undefeated and one loss teams. Plus, I'm guessing the voters don't have much faith in the Aggie defense going forward. Sitting in the mid-teens, the Aggies should be able to work their way back into the Top 10 pretty quickly if they start winning.
Other notes of interest: Texas A&M is now the 3rd-highest ranked team in the state of Texas. Baylor and Texas Tech moved into the top ten in both polls. Auburn jumped all the way to #11 in the AP Poll but is ranked 2 spots behind the Aggies in the Coaches Poll.
