After a weekend of killing hookers, LINKS: Week 3

Presswire

For some reason, waking up with a victory hangover isn't nearly as bad as waking up with a defeat hangover. After a solid scrimmage in Dallas against the Ponies, the Aggies are sitting at 1-1, Manziel has 44 new nicknames, and DC Mark Snyder has a sad face.

"He's ‘Captain Amazing,'" Nwachukwu said. "And next week he'll have another (nickname). It's a growing legend going on." Following the Aggies' 48-3 smashing of SMU at Ford Stadium before 32,016 fans, the growing legend has officially shifted from Kerrville Tivy to A&M. "Johnny's a playmaker, and he's going to make plays with his feet and his arm," A&M center Patrick Lewis said. "Wow. You've got to keep blocking, because he'll make plays when there are no plays to be made. I guess that's why they named him ‘Johnny Football.'"

"Right now, it's between Texas A&M and LSU, those two schools," Seals-Jones told Khan. "Probably soon I'll have a commitment and sit down and talk with my parents. But really those are the two schools that I'm looking at the most."

"It's exciting. I've been waiting to see this offense bust out like it did today," Swope said. "It's a very fast, exciting offense. And when you get rolling, it's just hard to stop. We really got in a groove, and Johnny did a good job of taking control and doing his assignment, making plays and finding guys down the field... To get that first touchdown was huge, and we just started rolling after that."
