Texas A&M Ticket Prices on the Rise

Take a Texas A&M football program playing its first year in the nation’s most prominent FBS conference, the SEC, add a stunning win over the nation’s No. 1 ranked football team in Alabama two weeks ago, and you’ve got the makings of a major hike in the price of tickets to Aggie home games on the secondary market this season.

The recent success Texas A&M has found on the football field has positioned them as one of the few teams in FBS to enjoy a consistent upward trend in the price of home game tickets. The current average price of $186/ticket to see the Aggies at Kyle Field this season has jumped 12% from its previous average of $166/ticket since its victory over 'Bama two weekends ago. That leaves the Aggies currently ranked No. 2 in the TiqIq Top 25 poll, a ranking of the nation’s top priced collegiate football tickets based on the average price to attend a home game during a team’s regular season schedule. That’s an improvement of six spots from the start of November, when Texas A&M ranked eighth heading into its showdown in Tuscaloosa.

For the best deals on Aggie tickets, use Flash Seats, Texas A&M's new Official Ticket exchange. They allow you to bid on tickets, and when you make a purchase, you can use your credit card to get into the game. I've used this twice this season and it's really easy. No need to worry about losing the ticket, and if you want to give it to a friend at the last minute because you can can’t make it, Flashseats makes it very easy to transfer tickets directly to them.
