GBH Recruiting Roundup

Here's the latest happenings concerning the 2013 Aggie recruiting class.

S/O to LSU for making my dicision easy on me..

Apparently the stud defensive tackle was not pleased when the LSU staff told him not to visit this weekend for the Alabama game. This just solidifies what everyone already assumed; this will be an Aggie and Sooner battle. I still keep hearing TCU is a team to watch out for but I'm not buying. It's no secret that Kevin Sumlin has already bridged what was a big gap in the beginning of Manning's recruitment. The Aggies will be in it until the end and I actually feel pretty good about their shot.

Laquvionte Gonzalez - Cedar Hill Athlete

The future slot receiver at Texas A&M received his Under Armor All American jersey this week. The senior speedster plays running back for Cedar Hill and has 714 yards and 12 touchdowns on only 78 carries. He also has 23 receptions for 255 yards and four scores.

Speaking of All-American games, here is a list of Aggie targets and commits that are playing in post season games:

U.S. Army All-American

Derrick Griffin

Ricky Seals-Jones

Justin Manning *

Mike Mitchell *

Mackensie Alexander *

Under Armour All-American

Kohl Stewart

Joas Aguilar

Laquvionte Gonzalez

Semper Fidelis Bowl

Reggie Chevis

Jeremy Tabuyo

Ricky Seals-Jones - Sealy Athlete

The five-star future receiver got back on the field last Friday night after missing seven weeks with a dislocated knee. He strictly played wide receiver on offense and had a touchdown reception to go with a pick-six. RSJ also sent the social media world buzzing by wearing Aggie glove. He said they were merely something to keep his hands warm but I'll let you make your own assumptions. SBNation recruiting analyst Wescott Eberts wrote this article on the night and Seals-Jones' impending visit to Baton Rouge this week.

Caleb Benenoch - Katy Seven Lakes Offensive Lineman

Even though the Ags and Benenoch went their separate ways, I wanted to share a couple of tweets he put out this week. It just goes to show the change in perception this staff has already accomplished on the recruiting trail. Big things are on the horizon in Aggieland my friends.
