SB Nation BlogPoll Top 25 - Week 11 Ballot

This week reminded me just how much I dislike polls and humans and humans arguing about polls, but the one thing I do love is ME and MY polls and MY sports takes. To the BLOGPOLL!

Happier these days than ol' Lane.
Happier these days than ol' Lane.

Polls and pundits and elections are draining me. My reasons and subjectivity:

  • The astute Dan Wetzel wrote a nice piece scratching the surface on all the flaws in polling here. Basically, humans are silly and teams are getting punished (or rewarded) based on ideas and guesses from August. Make this playoff eight teams and get it here soon so we can ditch this archaic nonsense. I really am confused. Notre Dame has a helluva argument for No. 1 and it has nothing to do with being Notre Dame.
  • Uncle Colorado has been bashing Louisville rather shamelessly over the season, and the chickens finally came home to roost. The Big East is very bad at football.
  • "Never show weakness, the only pain that matters is the pain you inflict. GO MAC." - Bud Kilmer to the Rust Belt.
  • I don't know how to slot the SEC teams in the Top 10. Everyone has beaten each other. I think A&M would beat Florida if they played today, but for now the Gators have earned their slotting. Never apologize for a win, even if it is ugly against U LA LA.
Where am I wrong?
